Following the formatting of last weeks show, Red and Ryo are back again without any news. Instead they discuss and debate the running list of suggestions sent into them by the community, tips and advice on how to possibly better the site and bring a more active community back to it’s core. After that, it’s onto this weeks discussion thread where it was up to you to decide which anime characteryou might want or wanted as a school teacher. And finally the reviews, Ryo starts us off with A Channel which left a bad taste in her mouth and Red wraps things up with a fightover an apartment room inRokujyoma no Shinryakusha.

I’ll continue being the only person that ever loved A-Channel. I know it’s a show about nothing, and I don’t normally like that style of anime. :cough:k-on:cough: But A-Channel caught me with its cutesy art style and vapid dialogue.
I wish I could have liked it. But so many episodes focused on worrying about weight was a massive turn off. I know she decided that she was just fine at the end, but still. Two whole episodes? I couldn’t do it.
A Happy House of Hentai mention!? I never expected to hear that name again.
I think that porting the show to Youtube is a great idea for promoting the podcast to new listeners. As for the change from episode numbers to dates? I’m with you: it doesn’t really work.
What you could do is after a milestone episode, like 500, for instance, you could restart the numbering. Re-numbering is what American comic books do, to make readers think that this is a good time to jump on. You could name it “Shin Anime Pulse” (but you wouldn’t have to call it that by name- just continue as normal).
Going back to promotion, I don’t know if you want to burn CDs, but you could make cards that have a link to a best-of compilation of the show. Better yet (and cheaper) is if you had a link to a Soundcloud channel as a banner or sign on your table.
Oh, BTW, Red, it’s Elemental Gelade (or Elemental Gerard), not Elemental Glade. Maybe there will be an anime about anthropomorphizing deodorizing products some day, but not now.
