This week is our longest show yet. It’s the year end special, we go over the games that came out over the past year. First we look into the news which while there is not much, we find enough. Then we go into the forums and get your thoughts on strategy guides. The forum we leave is the vote for game of the year. Five games have been chosen and only one will win. The review this week has been provided by subscriber Triforcewarriorcody. We all hear his thoughts on the best wii game to date. Then, not to be outdone we tell more tales from our adventures in Tamriel’s northern region. Good Times, Listen in to find out.

Of course, a review of Skyward Sword by somebody with the username “Triforcewarriorcody” has no chance of being slightly bias. 😉
Tip of the day:
Weapon damage are determined by the combat pertks (archery damage 1-5 the 1st perk in the tree) and same for 1 handed and 2 handed weapons, perks detrermine the damage.
Skyward Sword was surprisingly the most “unloved,” shall we say, game of the year. I was shocked people disliked it so much across the board.
Millennium, Batman is not a “cartoon” Well, there are several Batman cartoons, but the Arkham games aren’t based on any one of the cartoons; it’s its own thing, even though they use some voices from Batman: TAS
I don’t get your comment, regardless if Batman is a “cartoon” and you’re not into cartoons.
Firstly, all these games are basically animation, just with looks that are either more realistic or silly. Secondly, there isn’t a big barrier to someone’s understanding of the game if they don’t read the comics. You don’t need to know decades of continuity to enjoy the Arkham games.
I’ve played the first and started on the second (I have a backlog of games I’m working on!) and they’re fun for anyone who likes 3rd person action games. It’s WAY better than any comic book video game you’ve ever played. That’s why people make such a big deal about it.
