Psst, hey kids? It’s Papa Disney here. You like Star Wars? Good, you like expanded universe stuff? Of course you do. No, we’re not bringing back the Zhan novels and integrating them into canon. You think we like money? We’ve got all sorts of soft reboot tie ins that piss right in your eye. So, whadaya say? Wanna drop your life savings on remembering the good times?
Tim has The Legends of Luke Skywalker The Manga. Yes, that is the whole title sitting on the the cover. Like a Japanese light novel, it’s exactly what it says in the title. It’s various tales of Luke doing things in the SW universe. Most of it outside the events we see in the movies. Nothing contradicts the original trilogy and Luke isn’t a cynical jackass. It gets a Crackers in spite of being a Star Wars tie in.
Weltall has Star Wars the High Republic – The Edge of Balance. Once again, a ridiculous title because Disney needs to get the most out of their purchase. We have Lily, a young Jedu who’s helping refugees from a “hyperspace disaster”. We like to think this is post TLJ hyperspace kamikaze. There’s a wookie Jedi as well and some other garbage incase you hadn’t eaten your fill at the Star Wars trough. It gets a Borders.
