From the libraries I’ve been to, most comics and manga are in the non-fiction sections. The Dewey Decimal system has the 700’s as ‘Arts & Recreation’, and I’m guessing comics and manga fall under ‘drawings’. I imagine that it varies, but there’s a library near my home that has a kid section , a teen section, and an adult section.
I read an article on the Missouri child porn case as well, but while it didn’t state that manga was involved, I do think it was a possibility.
Huh, that’s interesting. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a US library. Thanks for the comment!
Both of our local libraries have specific kids sections, situated in their own rooms within the buildings. I haven’t ever looked for manga though, so I don’t know where they keep them.
Libraries rock!
Girls und Panzer, haven’t seen it, no interest, pass.
Code:Breaker, interesting, artwork distracting when it deforms, continue to watch.
Btooom!, pacing off, male lead is a jerk, too much internal monologue, thinking of dropping it.
Psycho-Pass, interesting premise, very dystopian future (IMHO), continue to watch.
Sakurasou, characters ridiculous yet complex, comedy hilarious, show surprisingly good.
Oniichan, ugh, no, pass.
