THE ANIMELAND WASABI MAID CAFE WAS WONDERFUL~~!!!!
It was kind of unexpected, but it ended up being one of the highlights of the weekend for me! Silly me, I didn’t think much of it when I saw they were having this on the website, but I’m glad I changed my mind and dragged Weltall in with me.
Adorable maids and charming butlers entertained us throughout our session with games, jokes, and dancing. They served us onigiri and omurice (on which a maid kindly drew a picture in ketchup for me) with delicious green-tea roll cakes and fruit tarts or parfaits for dessert.
Not to be biased or anything, but I adored the two maids that served our table. They were absolute darlings, and they did a fantastic job engaging everyone at our table in the games~ Also, they addressed me as “my princess” which instantly makes them even more awesome in my book.
There was only one problem~ Limited availability on seating/ sessions. The cafe itself was perfect, but the lines were long and it was hard to even get in a session. For next year, I would love, love, love! for Animeland Wasabi to put more emphasis on activities/ events like this! And they should certainly expand on the maid cafe so more people can enjoy the experience!
