Welcome to the 21st century, VG Pulse crew! I’m surprised it took this long for assigned seating and “lowrider” chairs to make it to your theater. I think my local theater (I’m in NY, in Queens) upgraded at least 5 years ago. Before they upgraded, the theater was in bad shape. It looked ghetto as hell, and the floors were REALLY sticky. Like almost take off your shoe sticky.
I also had trouble operating the recliner the first time I sat in one of those seats. I was looking for a hand lever or something, and I eventually found that little round button on the inside of the chair arm.
Also, assigned seating really isn’t that much different from being late to the movie. At least now I can get a center seat, instead of the side seat BS.
