Oh fuck. It’s recording day and we haven’t even read the assignment. Time to grab a slice of toast and then run to the APC we use to ferry ourselves to school. And by school we mean our jobs. By slice of toast, we mean an energy drink with a caffeine pill dissolved in it. By late we mean we’re on our way to Human Resources to tell them to suck a fat one. By fat one we mean that they’re invited to the farewell party for Sheryll because we don’t think anyone remembers the folks in HR. They do good work.

It’s one of the first books Oprah promoted so naturally it got a film adaptation. It’s about a lady named Beth though so that breaks all verisimilitude. Who names their kid Beth?
