Popcorn Pulse 20: Bad Hack

Given the year and near proximity to the twentieth anniversary, we decided that the time would be ripe to tackle the cult classic, Hackers. Staring an Angelina Jolie who hadn’t yet decided that collecting children like Pokemon was to be her hobby and some guy who’s name we only remember because he has an IMDB entry, they play the titular Hackers.

Hollywood, demonstrating that it gets trends wrong at least as often as it gets them right, portrays the good guys, aka the “cool kids”, as rollerbladers. VG Pulse 197: Terminal Watch

This week on VG Pulse, we have a cupcake-fueled giggle-fest as we cover the week’s events! Manga Pulse 316: OMG

As always, we’ve come around to manga reviews. By some serendipitous happenstance, Tim managed to review a request that was received to Weltall’s inbox a few days earlier. Sure, it might have been mentioned once or twice before but we can pretend that it was meant to be.

Tim tackles Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure by reading the first two volumes. It chronicles the appearance of Dio who attempts to usurp the Joestar family fortune from Jojo. This is, in fact, the plot of the story and not something we made up to mock it. We won’t spoil the plot but the foreigner turns out to be the bad guy and fights Jojo to what might not be his death. VG Pulse 196: Millennium's Gaming Misadventures

This week on Video Game Pulse, we have a supervised show filled with mini-golf and movies. We start off sharing theories about potato salad before transcending onto the theorized doom of Twitch by Google and talks about the importance of pre-orders.
