Episode 733: Remake Our Hinamatsuri

This week on Anime Pulse we got going back in time to take a new career path, Rumiko Takahashi is making a return in 2022, and the best and worst of 2021. First up is the IRL news with Joseph and Andrew celebrating the new year, talking about their top topics for best and worst anime of 2021. Then in the industry news Andrew takes it away with news of a return of the very first Rumiko work, and the website 5Chan inputs their top 10 anime of 2021. Finally in the first reviews of the new year Joseph awakens to find he has groundhoged himself right after he graduated High School, and yakuza Andrew gets hit on the head by a powerful girl falling from the sky and ends up as her caretaker.

Episode 732: Realist Megalo Box 2 Rebuilt

This week on Anime Pulse we got Mangakas going to jail, Christmas gifts, and Rock’em Sock’em Megalo 2. Up first the IRL news sees the 3rd Annual Anime Pulse Gift Exchange occur, with Joseph and Andrew having a grand ol’ time discovering what the other bought for them. Then in the industry news, just two articles to tide us over until the New Year with the probable end of Galko-chan and the possible return of Rurouni Kenshin. Finally it’s our last review show of the year as Joseph is summoned to another world to do their taxes, and Andrew equips his robots arms to play Punch Out: Nomad edition.

Episode 731: Demon Train

This week on Anime Pulse we got brilliant flames lighting our tears on fire, the unwinnable atmosphere for Cowboy Bebop news, and memes. Up first Joseph installed new lights for editing Joseph in his room, and Andrew is memeing with the best of the kids with the hottest anime memes out there. Then in the industry news the home of Maid Cafes plans to open the largest store yet, and the passing of a legendary writer has us carrying that weight. Finally the reviews or should we say the review wraps things up, as Joseph and Andrew board a train to full of Demons and Slayers.

Episode 730: Girlfriend House

This week on Anime Pulse we got promising harems, huge anime shops, and edgy super powers. Up first Joseph is very pleased with the new chapter of FGO, and Andrew does his seasonal round up on the stragglers of Fall 2021. Then in the industry news we’re full up with entry barred to Japan, Netflix reporting Jojo is #1, and COVID attending a NYC Anime Con. Lastly the reviews wrap things up with Joseph trying to manage his brand new harem, and Andrew enters a house full of loli shadows.

Episode 729: YU-NO in Another World

This week on Anime Pulse we got prescriptions delivered by wolfgirl, a real Bombshell of a news article, and recovering from Thanksgiving and benders. Up first Joseph received his Christmas gift from Andrew, and Andrew refused to learn a lesson about drinking too much. Then in the industry news you can tell Joseph is hungry because he’s talking about McDonalds, and Andrew is excited to announce the 1000th episode of One Piece. Finally we return to solid reviews as Joseph wonders why an isekai needed to be an isekai, and Andrew is traveling dimensions to find his father who really got around.

Episode 728: Platinum Moonlit Ranking

This week on Anime Pulse we got ugly heroes, monster girls wiki is in trouble, and getting down with the sickness. Up first IRL news has Joseph returning to Moe’s Night, and Andrew questions our tastes in swimsuits. Then in the industry news we got golden chopsticks, a stage play for Spirited Away, and Joseph being the proud owner of a soon to be rare product. Lastly we have our second and final Gattai show as Joseph gets tossed aside for being too ugly to be the hero, and Andrew gets a guardian angel after entering a game to become king.
