Manga Pulse 452: Yankee Sex

Episode 715: Summer 2021 Previews #5

This week on Anime Pulse we got the return of a long thought dead Crunchyroll original, COVID shots, and five episodes of exposition. Up first Joseph is a bit lonely and stressed out so his body decided to break a little, and Andrew asked us before what the best anime adaptations of games were now he wants to know what the worst ones are. Then in the industry news we got topics like when a cosplayer shows more skin than the character in the series does, and another Goo Rankings poll for most entertaining Shonen series. Then in our FINAL previews episode for the summer season, yes, were sure this time, the great Joseph is forced to work at a bar after being defeated by a slime, and Andrew survives Would War 3 only to enter a battle royal with gods.

Episode 714: Summer 2021 Previews #4

This week on Anime Pulse we got going from top of an apartment complex to bottom of a dungeon, the Anime Olympics, and being so so lonely. Up first IRL news as Joseph has turns his skills to masonry, and Andrew is Gousto about being very busy reading huge Chungus. Then in the industry news we meet a A.I. mama who is ready listen to all our woes, and an odd list for the top endings in shonen manga. And finally the previews, our final show of straight previews, sees us out with Joseph being isekai’d to balance checkbooks and mine demon ore, while Andrew becomes a superstar idol vampire with blue eyes that reads from a cursed book.

Episode 713: Summer 2021 Previews #3

This week on Anime Pulse we got the anime news network that shall not be named, being sexually harassed by your super hot maid, and our listeners thoughts on what is hot and what is not. First up IRL news comes in with Joseph kind of just coasting along, and Andrew is avoiding being struck by lightning while golfing. Then in the industry news we got a repeat offender as Joseph takes off again, and Andrew has to cover the things he has brought to the table. Finally in the end our Previews see us out with Joseph going to work as a dorm mother but gets cursed with the touch of death, and Andrew sings opera in an aquarium.

Episode 712: Summer 2021 Previews #2

This week on Anime Pulse we got a spackling good time, video games that became anime, and being so ugly you get denied hero status. Up first Joseph has been working on a new project he’s been working on in his bathroom, and Andrew has bought an arcade stick to become an elite gamer. Then in the industry news Andrew goes it alone, talking about his new found respect for J.C. Staff and some dude flinging shit at Miyazaki. Lastly in our second round of previews Joseph gets rejected by the goddess that summoned him so he opens up a drugstore, and Andrew is born from a giant peach so he combines with another boy to rescue a princess.
