One. Two. Three movies, ah, ah, ah. Now that you’re hearing this read to you but a purple felted vampire, we have films for your perusal. We’ve got some of the late, great Raul Julia in Roger Corman’s Frankenstein Unbound(1990).

Raul is Frankenstein who get’s visited by John Hurt who is hurled back in time because of a wormhole weapon he created in our future. Like all Roger Corman films, it’s held together with spit and twine. All driven by a ticking clock forcing the production schedule.

Episode 690: Monster Girl of the Elite

This week on Anime Pulse we got incoming snow storms, China against anime, and performing surgery on a dragon girl. Up first IRL news has Joseph morning the loss of his head phones, and Andrew asks us about the worst official anime couples. Then in the industry news there’s a positive law being introduced to protect escalator riders, and China being super dumb and not checking the facts about an isekai anime. Finally in the reviews, which we have returned to, Joseph cures monster girls of cancer and Andrew studies his hardest to raise his high school ranking but just buys his grades when he fails.

Episode 689: Winter 2021 Previews #4

This week on Anime Pulse we got tooth aches, fast food Japanese deer, and a return to a return by death. Up first IRL news gets Joseph to talk about his potential Wisdom Tooth removal, and Andrew dig into some chocolates to learn who we would like to give and receive some from. Then in industry news Joseph takes a seat at the timelines as Andrew warns us about a new corporation team-up, and feeding leftover veggies and sweets to deer is not cool bro. Lastly is the last preview only show where Joseph goes back to teaching some dumb quintuplets, Andrew has an argument with toilet paper, and the two of them bid a surprising farewell to a floating cat spirit.

Popcorn Pulse 138: Balls of Doom

We’ve cracked open the skull of a b movie monster film, Phantasm(1979). We have a sad kid who works on cars that lives with his brother. Their parents are dead and then some of the older brother’s friends start dying. Bodies start disappearing and silver orbs are zooming about. All why a creepily tall man shouts “boy!” This may sound like a normal day in Kansas and it is until they stumble upon a gateway to another dimension or maybe planet appears.
