Here is the Ketchup Mania concert from Sakura-con. They were the first act in the Ali Project double-concert. The audio sounded great, but Batou’s right in front of the speaker for a lot of it so there is a lot of distortion, but I still watched it and enjoyed it, so I hope you do as well. We’ve got one more video for you, their encore, and that will be the end of our Sakura-con coverage for 2008.

Here it is. The video from the Ali Project concert at Sakura-con. There is about 5-6 minutes total of the entire video where the audio gets really distorted because Batou was right in front of the speaker, but the majority came out really well. I hope you all enjoy it.

We’re proud to present you an interview with Roland Kelts. He is a lecturer at Tokyo University and author of the book “Japanamerica: How Japanese pop culture has invaded the US”. We talk a lot about cultural and business differences between the US and Japan. I really enjoyed talking with him and I hope you enjoy this great interview.

We’re proud to present you an interview with one of my personal heroes, Yutaka Izubuchi. His record speaks for himself, but just the fact that he is responsible for the creation and designs of my favorite series, RahXephon is enough to make me giddy. So I hope you enjoy this.

We’ve got a great show this week. Rangiku joins us to provide the lowdown on the fiasco that was the Anime Boston registration lines. We also do the news and review Heroic Age and Ashita no Kita Yoshio. It’s a great show so check it out. Note that at a certain point Rangi’s audio stream got a few seconds of lag, and since it was recording to the same stream I couldn’t separate it out. It’s new software and I’ll have that sorted out next time.
Ashita no Kita Yoshio – Wouldn’t kick it out of bed for crackers.
Heroic Age – Wouldn’t kick it out of bed for crackers.
