We’re here once again to talk about the power of the dash. Some people prefer heat seeking missiles or the old fashioned machine guns but a quick burst of speed will always be our personal favorite. There’s nothing quite like punching it when someone attempts to come up from behind and leaving them in your wake.
Tim has plucked yet another recommendation because listeners are wonderful and he is lazy. Which is how he ended up reviewing “In the Clothes Named Fat”. It is a solitary volume of comics collected, a sort of slice of life and a bit dark. It deals with a woman who’s overweight and develops an eating disorder. It earned a Crackers in spite of Tim’s loathing for the slice of life style managa.
Weltall then dredges up what appeared to be, and was confirmed later, as a product of the nineties, Hell Teacher NÅ«bÄ“. It’s a serialized manga where an exorcist teacher chases down children and removes demons from them. These demons only ever seem to cause them to do things which are standard dickhead behaviors. Things like gossiping, getting angry and pissing your pants are not personality traits which need work, they’re demons. And only one of those was made up. Weltall still gave it a Borders because it dared not to be terrible, just mediocre.
