VG Pulse 285: Complicated Simplicity

This week on VG Pulse, we start and end with sad news, but hopefully fill the middle with entertainment! We start off with side notes of the sad reason why we missed a show last week, before diving into the ezmails where I get to talk about my favorite show of all time! Afterwards, we head off into what little news there was, before going over the forum and setting forth a new topic of discussion! We then head off into our joint first look of Factorio, and finish off with talk of anime and more sad news! All this and more up next on VGP 285! -Aki

  1. Sorry for your IRL woes. Lung cancer’s not just for smokers. Even if you live a healthy life, your environment can mess you up as well. Yeah, fucked up. My uncle went out the same way, but he was an old school smoker, in the days when we were less aware about what smoking would do to you.

Why don’t I talk about the other bad news, about Chester Bennington. Linkin Park was important to the anime community. If you watch a DBZ AMV, for instance, chances are that Linkin Park is the music. Linkin Park also has made it to several game soundtracks. Most of them are sports games, but they also did music for a Medal of Honor game, and they, naturally, made it into Guitar Hero. Linkin Park also had their own mobile games, about 7 years ago. In the game, Linkin Park was fighting an evil corporation, and the soundtrack was all Linkin Park.

Well, let’s move onto a brighter topic- anime!

I would like to suggest a new one for you to tackle. I believe it’s 13 episodes, and it’s from the Cowboy Bebop creator: Terror in Resonance. I don’t think the AP show has even tackled this show.
