I liked your Junni Taisen review. It was very burpy, and probably a bit too inebriated, but the prose was a little less purple, more formal and conversational.
Hey, if you want more live listeners, maybe we need to leverage Andy’s connections. How many times per week do you pimp the podcast? Do you tell all your family on Facebook about it?
Rumiko Takahashi is shockingly not married! I thought she was too, guys. I don’t know why I just assumed that. I think it’s because a) she made shiploads of money off of romcoms and b) since she’s in her 50s, I assumed she was into traditions like marriage.
Why’s she single? Maybe she’s going against the grain. Maybe she couldn’t find a man who would fall to the ground when she yelled “Sit boy!” Or maybe she has a “long time female friend.” I don’t really know her dating history. Maybe she’s an old virgin and a cat lady, and has never dated.
The theory I’m going with is that she’s into black guys, because one picture of her has her wearing a Def Jam sweater. Rumiko X LL Cool J, for sure!

Just wondering if Red is also color blind. Kizuna Ai is clearly wearing a pink ribbon and have pink highlights in her hair, yet Red kept saying it was red.

Can’t really help with connections. The people closest to me know but most wouldn’t be interested. I tend to fare better at making friends with people who aren’t into anime. It’s one of the reasons I joined this community to begin with.

“Purple prose” means language that’s excessively fancy for the sake of being fancy. Can’t say I’ve noticed any truly purple prose from your end, but hey.

Aaa. Never heard that term before. It may seem that way however unintentional, I’ve never really tried writing for entertainment until I became co-host. So it’s probably left over from my years of writing academically. It’s a long road ahead…
