Industry news hits hard with Bowestte in 2019, an “ugly girl” bar, and that western adaptation of Death Note has a bit of a train wreck. And then previews are back as Joseph copilots a living aircraft to fly away from drama, and Andrew grows a CG hero complex while trying to find a killer by talking too much.

I actually have watched all of Revisions and while I’m not gonna spoil anything I’ll just tell you that Daisuke’s hero complex asshattery isn’t going away any time soon. So learn to like the other characters, because you’re sure as fuck not gonna like Daisuke.
Wait – does anyone else remember the Boogiepop Phantom from 2000? This was one I REALLY liked from back in the day. A paranormal horror-suspense-drama with murders and missing people in urban Japan? Yes please!
If the new series has much of the same, I will definitely watch. Fingers crossed it comes over to one of the streaming services I subscribe to.
