It’s that time of year again where the promised sequels, just like the executives on top of their favorite hookers, are coming. We have at least one of those cock teases which do not lead to sex in the champagne room. That’s right, Dune: Part 2[2024].
So the first part seemed kind of promising. Baron Harkonen’s plan had succeeded in driving out the Atredies and retaking Arrakis. We weren’t threatened with a trilogy so everything has to wrap up in this one. That’s a lot of reliance on the acting ability of the failed Wonka player. There’s a lot to pick apart and we do our darnedest to stay on topic.
Tim has D-Tox or Eye See You[2002]. This is a movie you’ve never heard of because it was trying another take on the serial killer developing a dependency on a cop. In this case Stallone who is an FBI agent. The killer murders Stallone’s fiance and then hangs himself. Stallone’s character then goes off to rehab for a drinking problem. Until the murders start at the facility.
Weltall then has Harrow[2018] TV Series. It’s another Ioan Gruffudd series. This time he’s a medical examiner. There’s a number of medical examiners who aren’t as good but they have quirks. There’s also a through line plot in each season which makes things more interesting. A little rough though that previous plot lines can seem to be of huge import and then fizzle and be forgotten in the next.
