Industry news covers topics like the difficulty in addressing homosexuality in anime, and who is earning the top dollar working with anime. Reviews this week are of Pan de Peace and JoJo, one is about a group of girls who like bread a little too much and the other is about muscle bound men fighting each other with their personas. I’ll let you guess which one is which.

Happy Halloween everyone, another episode of Anime Pulse has arrived. Not that it’s a spooky edition or anything, unless you consider Red’s verbal molestation frightening, in which case prepare to cower in fear. We got some news about Ryo’s latest short story and Red’s first play through of a Persona game, followed up by crossdressing cosplay getting a limp thumbs up and expensive smoking for the 2020 olympics. As for reviews, Ryo handles the short but cute Bananya and Red gets all touchy feely with Nanatsu no Taizai.

Fall’s here everyone, and with it comes a new season of anime. Sadly this season is somewhat lacking, so this will be the only previews show for the fall 2016 season. First up however is IRL news about new microphones, anime conventions, and bad movies. That’s followed up by industry news about Goku’s big secret, an expensive Pokemon card, and foreigners being called a hassle on bullet trains. And lastly are the previews, of which there are six, so buckle in, you’re in for a long one.

Yes it’s safe, sexually suggestive Red is gone this week. In fact, Ryo even prepared herself for his stupid antics only to be surprised at how much of a straight man Red would play. This week we’ve got news about life-sized figurines, Red’s trip to visit his mom, and Ryo’s efforts at creating a video presentation. As for reviews, Ryo starts off with the father and daughter anime “Sweetness and Lightning” and Red brings up the rear with the past life Seiken Tsukai no World Break.

Though you can’t blame the guy entirely, he did go see the god awful “Sausage Party” this past week. At least Ryo takes it all in stride, but then again she has been writing poetry about her dreamy sensei. First though Red and Ryo fill us in on what’s been going on with them, with Ryo going back to school and Red continuing his crusade against his previous employer. The industry news has a pretty fun poll about hated Jump heroins, a bit about a hack mall sign displaying hentai, and the dark side of Pokemon. Oh, and there is a bit where Red and Ryo reminisce about old commercials.

In this episode, Red makes it very apparent that pissing him off is not what someone wants to do. But so long as you don’t pull your phone out during a movie, fire him for no reason, or take forever to deliver his mail you’ve nothing to fear from the tenth unit of red. Aside from Red’s angry rant we have news of leaked photos from Ghost in the Shell, reactions to Bleach ending, and a Spice and Wolf sequel. In terms of reviews we have Ryo loving Bungo Stray Dogs, and Red not loving Juuou Mujin no Fafnir.
