Episode 522: Saijaku Muhai no Infinite Burst

Joseph and Andrew are back with another episode of Anime Pulse, this week Joseph is taking a Z-Pak and Andrew explains his disappointing ending to a local convention. Industry news is small this week with just two topics, one about Pokemon companions and the other about a potential Fire Emblem anime hinted in weapon text. Reviews come in with a look at the “Forgettably Medieval Infinite Stratos” by Joseph, and the movie for Accel World by Andrew.

  1. This is gonna be interesting! Andrew, feast your eyes upon Americ- COUGH- I mean Chinese food. Fast food- Asian style!

Would you eat any of this? I haven’t seen it, but I saw the trailer for the documentary about Chinese food. Basically, some American dude came up with it. I think he was Chinese-American, so at least there’s some authenticity there. For years, most of us thought General Tso’s chicken was actually food that General Tso ate; we don’t know who General Tso was, anyway.

I don’t know where she qualifies, but I have been watching a lot of Gintama, and there’s a character in it who is crazy, but she’s not violent towards the object of her affection. She’s Ayame, a ninja assassin who also loves being degraded and tied up. She’s totally obsessed, but would never harm Gin. I guess she’s a yandare, because all a yandere has to do is be insane about someone.

Here’s a yandere list that includes male and female yandare!

  2. Real enjoyable episode today guys. Both of you seemed to be in a really good mood ’cause you both had a great flow, particularly during the reviews! Keep up the good job. =D

    1. Can’t express how much I appreciate that! Sometimes I can’t help but feel little paranoid if a week passes and an episode gets no response, like it had no impact or something.

Thank you very much for stopping by!
