Episode 808: Uncle 2.0 Another Can (Not) World

This week on Anime Pulse we got another Eva movie, that One Piece Netflix trailer, and dinner from a Golf Course. Up first Joseph is suffering the heat the best he can, talking about his meal from Iron’s Edge and Andrew doubles down on the heat with Hot Takes after giving some thoughts on Fire Emblem Engage. Then in the industry news the kid who more or less started the sushi terrorism trend receives a hefty fine, and the trailer for One Piece the Movie dropped and it is indeed a trailer for a movie. And finally reviews have Joseph returning from being isekai’d only to find he’s become an uncle, and Andrew refuses to get in the giant robot again to fight angels.

Episode 807: Welcome to Slayer School! Entertainment-kun

This week on Anime Pulse we got Team Rocket levels of crime, a one-sided Demon Slayer review, and questioning anime characters. Up first Joseph doesn’t have much to say about his week for once and Andrew does a little better in his Street Fighter rankings, but the community section steals the show with a very small number of replies to an ask-me-anything themed interview with any character of your choice. Then in the industry news Black Lagoon opens two cafes, a costly Demon Slayer advertisement, and resealed Pokemon cases found full of drugs. And lastly in the reviews Joseph graduates from demon school feeling a little underwhelmed, and Andrew goes to the Red Light district to hunt demons.

Episode 806: The Evangelion in Shadow 1.0

This week on Anime Pulse we got doxxing your favorite mecha anime creator, discovering mystical trails, and becoming Atomic. Up first Joseph walked himself straight into a fairy tail forest after suffering from food poisoning, and Andrew is being killed by heat and pollen while seeking an isekai world to move to. Then in the industry news we have a follow up to the Oshi no Ko suicide relation story, a man stealing a pack of lactic acid drinks, and the One Piece creator is heading into surgery. Lastly the reviews have Joseph becoming Atomic and requesting more Power, and Andrew has to get in the Eva and battle angels for his very first time.

Episode 805: Lycoris Flops

This week on Anime Pulse we got sandy scallops, bad ass girls doing yuri things, and the Bay Area in San Francisco gets some new mascots. Up first Joseph did another long ass walk and ate a little too much habachi dinner, and Andrew wants to know what anime do not deserve to see the light of day again. Then in the industry news Shonen Sunday releases their results for top heroine, a bus drive around Fukuoka that might spirit you away, and some new anime mascots grace San Francisco’s public transportation. And finally we have return to our regularly schedule reviews as Joseph belly flops into a bad VR game, and Andrew takes out some terrorists while chewing on some lycoris.

Popcorn Pulse 197: Quiet Rain

With Weltall’s impending trip to the land of the rising sun which illuminates the tentacle porn, we figured a movie about Japan would be just right. It’s from the eighties if that helps and isn’t a comedy. It’s also not weekend at Bernie’s though that’s been requested over seven hundred times.
