Episode 472: Winter 2016 Previews Part 3

At long last the final episode of Winter 2016 previews has arrived, after this Anime Pulse will return to it’s regularly scheduled program of reviews. Starting things off this week is “less drunk” Red, who is sober enough to actually not make sexually references every ten seconds as he does his IRL news. Meanwhile Ryo is doing much better, in that she has not had a case of the cracking-head-open-against-desks this week. After IRL news it’s onto the Industry News, with Red’s article about love confessions and Ryo’s about another Hatsune Miku figurine. After all is said and done we come to the final previews, and a brand new outro; let me know what you think! This could be something that changes every week for now on, or it could be something new to replace the old that signifies the ending.

  1. My top 10 Anime & Manga confessions would have to be:
1: Tomoya Okazaki to Nagisa Furukawa – Clannad
2: Tatsuhiko Kido to Emiru Ikuno – Nozoki Ana
3: Okabe Rintarou to Makise Kurisu – Steins;Gate
4: Naruto Uzumaki to Hinata Hyuga – Naruto
5: Hitagi Senjōgahara to Koyomi Araragi – Monogatari Series
6: Moritaka Mashiro to Miho Azuki – Bakuman
7: Itsuki Minami to Ringo Noyamano – Air Gear
8: Punpun Onodera to Aiko Tanaka – Oyasumi Punpun
9: Ken Kitano to Yumi Yoshizawa – Sun-Ken Rock
10: Ayase Aragaki to Kyōsuke Kōsaka – Oriemo

  2. Most of the time there never is a confession of love. It just goes on and on and on…..just say you love each other and get on with it, most of the time that would add to the storyline.

  3. After listening to this I realized I don’t watch/read alot of series with love confessions! At least, not ones where there’s alot of build or anticipation. Ed and Winry is my last memorable one; all the rest happen early, or have happened before the series starts, or happen in a sort of awkward way (unexpectedly out of the blue, or right before the confesser dies, etc.), or, there’s *no big confession,* the characters just roll into a relationship without a big deal being made. Oh well!

    Also, I liked this outro!

  4. In high school there was definitely stuff going on, but in 8th grade, there was a couple who was already going at it- in school.

Durarara!! is the most amazing show in terms of juggling a massive cast that I have EVER seen- in all of fiction, I think. To add this many characters and still have me hooked is amazing.

I loved Baccano! and I love this show, so I want to know if anything else will be adapted from the creator once Durarara!! ends. I know he has at least one other series.
