This week was a long one. Whoever keeps messing with the time streams needs to at least have the courtesy to help us skip past the bullshit keeps hitting the center of the week. If they have time, they might also want to kill a few dictators in the past. Continuity might now allow it but even time travellers need a hobby.
Tim starts us off with Fire Punch. You might think this is a series based on a knock off of Captain Falcon’s signature move. Instead, the author has taken a Wolverine knock off and made them far more fun than mister mcscowly-pants. An unkillable, regenerating man, Agni, gets lit by a fire which cannot be extinguished. His opponent doesn’t realize that he made Agni far more dangerous. Tim gives it a Read It Now.
Weltall then does Haru-nee ga Boku ni xx Suru Riyuu. A manga so memorable, he couldn’t recall the plot a week later. The main character, Hideto, is afraid of women because they have spokey periods which summon the dark fish creatures from under Tokyo. When a single woman attempts to touch him, he runs away and joins the French Foreign legion. His knowledge of the Japanese language and customs ingratiates him with the commander who is a huge weeabo.
I miss old AP (Ich&Batou + Guest)
Well too bad, so sad.
You have a great bedside manner.
Also, don’t worry about that email. Don’t know where they got the idea I want to stop doing Anime Pulse, probably more that they are tired of the new hosts. To that I say: “Too bad.”
I’m here to stay bitches.
