On today’s episode of Anime Pulse we celebrate the 600th episode, and the 14th coming of our ancestral founder Ichigo. He joins Joseph and Andrew as they discuss what has been going on with Ichigo, as well as submitting the questions from our dear listeners for him to answer. We also talk about Ichigo the firefighter, what anime tropes you hate the most, and we even hear from our resident Southern Belle. No show will be held on Easter, but look forward to our return the week after where we’ll be covering the new anime of Spring 2019.

Hmm, it’s fascinating to hear about Ichigo’s further adventures, both solo and with his family. He’s living a real Dragonball Z life. He’s doing heroic things, he’s on farm land- it’s pure Goku.
I’m jealous, Joey! I wish I was in touch with Lord Kaos, because I’d like an HHH shirt. I think it’s been damn near a decade since the HHH podcast, ao I doubt he has that stuff hanging around anymore.
Andy, I think that Azuma’s issue with adapting Yotsuba is a bit more complex than just adapting a 4 koma. Azumanga Daioh was a gag manga also. I forget the quote, but there was a specific term or phrase he said about Yotsuba not translating.
Luckily, in the CG anime Nyanbo, they gave us our first ever look at Yotsuba in animation form. She’s in the ED. Maybe they did more EDs with her in it, but this grown man can only watch so much Nyanbo
For the next 100 special, can we maybe get Tim and Weltall in? They are part of AP’s history as well. What’s more difficult: getting Tim and Weltall in, or getting Batou in?

Andy, JoJo’s continues to hold up the crazy quality that the other seasons had. It’s funny that GioGio isn’t really the star of the show for several episodes, but I don’t seem to care.
