Episode 695: Sleepy Princess in the Abyss

This week on Anime Pulse we got tons of trading cards, Netflix being utterly droll, and descending deeper into the Abyss. Up first Joseph is excited for his trip to Flavor Town, and Andrew stuffs his face full of pocky and melon pan while watching cute girls doing cute things. Then the industry news rolls in with Japan tracking your every movement, a life size and possible Rei figurine, and how to avoid being canceled by a Japanese artist. Lastly the reviews sound us off as Joseph watches a cute girl doing demonic things, and Andrew take a dip in the Sea of Corpses.

  1. I’ll bet you didn’t think anyone was going to comment again this week; well surprise. 🙂

Most media refer to the offspring of angels and demons as Nephilim or Nephalem (those seem to be the most common spellings).

On an unrelated note, you’re right Andrew, you don’t want to edit while drunk. I’d also add extremely tired and distracted to the list as well. I’ve done two of those things a few times while editing some things for myself and regretted it later.

    1. Also unrelated, the character holding the child in the cover art for this episode looks remarkably like a warlock from the Destiny video game franchise. I would totally rock that armor set if it was in the game. 🙂

      1. Yeah I hear a lot of people saying that. Either that or that he’s the third member of Daft Punk. I haven’t played Destiny so I wouldn’t know.
