Manga Pulse 463: Samwise Ninja

What’s this? I don’t know if it’s the booze or not but I’m seeing double. Two manga reviews in the same show? We take the heavy effort of picking up the books, reading them, then scrambling to get the equipment fired up and working. We might also develop some sort of opinion about them and apply a rating. Once we’ve wandered off into the weeds so far we’re finding golf balls.

Manga Pulse 462: Burrito Hunting

Let’s see. Bills. Junk mail. Offers to buy a house the show doesn’t own. Vote Romney for President? How long has it been since we’ve looked at our inbox proper? Not that long because we have some requests which we address. And much quicker than we do letters to the editor for some defunct BDSM magazine we keep getting.

Popcorn Pulse 166: Matrix Debt

Just like the Twin Galaxies we hold absolutely all the world records. Unsurprisingly they are all related to our own show. Most consecutive episodes of Popcorn Pulse? For the one hundredth and sixty sixth time it goes to us…us! Take that, podcasts which aren’t even in the running.

Manga Pulse 461: Ugly Black

Warning, awkward audio dips as we kept looking away from the mics. We made some adjustments to the output but it’s still going to be off a bit. Let’s say, hypothetically, you wanted to listen to a show. Also hypothetically, you had access to two of the most hinged people on the internet? Yes, I said hinged. These men, titans among capybaras, are the polar opposite of unhinged. They might even be standing right next to based. Also they have a pair of manga with reviews of each for you to enjoy.

Popcorn Pulse 165: Kutcher my Car

If you were anywhere near a TV in the late nineties you were exposed to Ashton Kutcher and Sean Williams Scott shouting dude and sweet at each other. A gag which Tim swears goes on for a third of an eternity. That’s right, we’ve got a comedy today in the form of Dude, Where’s My Car[2000].

Manga Pulse 460: Dog Baby

There are twin cities out there. You have to be careful though because there are fraternal and paternal. Fraternal twin cities share a geography only. Paternal twin cities are ones that were originally founded by the same person but divided because of prohibition or some similar legal disagreement. Which is why New York and Los Angeles are so far apart. New York decided that living in a hole with rats was a perfectly fine core personality trait. Meanwhile LA disagreed and believed that being unable to drive was more important. So they broke apart and drifted off to the west coast. This leads us to a twin manga review.

Popcorn Pulse 164: Crocs Undees

Oi, Skippy. Slip on your daks and check your breath. You don’t want to fail the blow in the bag or end up clipping someone elses grass. Else you’re not driving you can grab a frothy as we take a walk about in the merry land of Oz. That’s right, we’ve done the movie Crocodile Dundee(1986).

Popcorn Pulse 163: Trouble bout Nothin

Like a loudmouth wandering into a monks cloister we’ve got Nothing but Trouble(1991). Imagine you’re a Hollywood producer in the last of the eighties. Dan Akroyd had been part of an immensely successful pair of movies in Ghostbusters and he pitches you a movie. Based on a traffic stop he once had. You snort enough coke to buy Pablo Escobar two more hippos and a green light that with your powder packin’ pecker then proceed to call up your favorite hooker.
