I don’t think anyone brought up Great Pretender as a good OP because it’s just instrumental. What’s the last instrumental OP anime fans loved? “Tank”? I actually can’t name some instrumental opening songs. I would struggle to name 5.
You read a list from Shitkaku about anime films that make you cry. You said it was a list that was created by the site. As far as I know, that garbage website doesn’t create their own content. They typically editorialize on and share news items. So that list might have come from a Japanese poll, and, unlike us Western weebs, Japan calls everything anime, so Coco would be considered anime.
