Episode 746: Petshop of Paladin

This week on Anime Pulse we got mangakas running for office, discount bake goods, and purchasing a mermaid with no strings attached. Up first the IRL news gets Joseph to talk about his April Fool’s prank on his super boss, and Andrew wants to know what genres in anime we do not like. Then in the industry news we get a follow up on the sentencing of Galko-chan’s artist, Japan force feeding tourists sushi, and Satoshikon. Lastly the reviews see us out with Joseph being very moot on a Paladin who did not need to be reincarnated, and Andrew drops by a pet shop to buy himself a rather exotic animal that surely won’t kill him.

Popcorn Pulse 170: King’s Ghost

Wake up weaboos, we got a Japanese movie for you to enjoy. It’s what happens when a director who’s strictly worked in Japan makes a foray into the west. Of course he grabs Nic Cage to star as an outlaw. This requires he wear a full leather jumpsuit with bombs near his balls, arms and neck. This is all very important to the plot, so we are told.

VG Pulse 373: Never Going to GIF You Up

This week on VG Pulse we return to form with a rather vanilla episode (a flavor of ice cream most people can enjoy). In the side notes, Baked talks about why he is baked out of his mind while Monado is paid a visit by the virus of unspecified origin. There’s a variety of articles and news to discuss from big companies like NVIDIA and Microsoft getting hacked, Netflix and Amazon really trying to make the video game thing happen, to more casual topics like a list of top Bioware games and a more questionable list of top “losers” in Video Games. We also cover takes from Reggie (my body is ready) Fils-Aimé on Facebook/Metaverse, AngryJoe on the new Halo series and much more! Finally we got our reviews of an obscure wholesome title, Treasure of Nadia and the flashy (in a different way) Azure Striker Gunvolt. All this and more on VGP 373!! -Aki

Manga Pulse 465: Servant Seduction

Double double, review some trouble. Pickup two manga and prepare for scrungle. This is why you invest in a good rhyming dictionary and don’t rely on some weird website that’s user generated and maintained. Because then the porn bots get in there and muddle it all up with gibberish.

Episode 744: The Orbital Senpai is Annoying

This week on Anime Pulse we got children in space, only the best CG, and Pie. Up first Joseph celebrated Pi day with some bake-to-order Apple Pie, and Andrew digs into what we think the best uses of CG in anime are. Then in the industry news we got the top isekai survey that Joseph didn’t make, and a breach in anime security at Toei Animation. Finally in the reviews Joseph teases his tiny junior at work until she falls in love with him, and Andrew gets trapped on a space station with a bunch of kids.

Popcorn Pulse 169: Untouchable State

Twice as nice for have the price. That’s our movie review deal and you’re getting whether you like it or not. We’re taking a trip back to the days where people went over to stores to rent movies for a couple of days. This is because movies hated us just as much but they still needed our money. And they couldn’t just hook up the milking machine like they do now. That’s right, the nineties which people swear is the worst decade but only because they preferred the eighties.

Lastly the reviews have Joseph becoming the translator for a bad communicator, and Andrew powers up to Super Cohost 3 to fight off some Egyptian gods.

Manga Pulse 464: Dissolving Witch

Well the request start coming and they don’t stop coming. And they don’t stop coming. And they don’t stop coming. And they don’t stop…brrrrrttt. Sorry. The vinyl was stuck again. That’s what happens when you buy your record player off of alibaba. I guess it’s back to eBay and estate sales because I’m not buying a nearly two thousand dollar Technics turntable. I don’t care what the tweed wearing audiophile who has been saving up for a trip to Singapore says.
